Chocolate Peanut-Butter Pretzels

While our Christmas cookie roster stays fairly consistent every year (shortbread, sugar cookies, butter tart squares, etc.), it’s nice to try out a few different ones every now and then. And after I saw extreme things being done to pretzels online, I decided that I needed to get in on this unorthodox ‘cookie’ action.

In my version, I’ve just dipped pretzels in softened-in-the-microwave peanut butter (using¬†dental floss as my high tech kitchen tool of choice), followed by a little time in the freezer, followed by a dip in some melted chocolate. And ¬†a little sprinkle of sea salt.

Just throw them in the freezer again once they’ve been double dipped, and they’ll be ready to take their coveted place on the cookie plate.
