Just in case you were thinking (or hoping) there weren’t any more ways to combine rice with lentils and vegetables:
And now, the latest edition: Nutty brown rice and green lentils, mixed with sautéed onions, garlic, zucchini and fresh corn scraped off the cob. With a big scoop of salsa mixed in, and chopped up avocado and greek yogurt on top.
If you frequently find yourself staring blankly into your fridge, just remember these steps, and thank me later (with food). As long as you have something from each of the following categories, you will always have dinner, and it will most likely be very healthy, cheap and always taste slightly different:
A) Rice/Quinoa/Other Grain
B) Lentils/Beans/Chicken/Other Protein
D) Spices/Herbs/Other Delicious Things
